I think exclusively on this blog, the big news is the Mayor has announced a forthcoming loyalty card for Rhuthun/Ruthin, to be launched in June. Initial details are here as the second comment and seem encouraging. To be successful, it needs a strong take up by both business and residents. This might include those trading beyond the town centre and living in the hinterland. This is the third loyalty card in the area. The oldest is the Ysgol Brynhyfryd PTA seasonal (Christmas) discount scheme, no doubt supplanted by the new card. Then there's Tesco's Clubcard.
