The paint up within and inside the Town Hall that started in the last week of February is well and truly complete. Fair play to the site operators, Operon: externally, the decorators made a good job of it.
Market traders are back in and are almost up to their pre-refurbishment strength.But, vandals have again struck at the newly completed paintwork between the Town Hall, toilets and Trade Secrets.
And, what happened to the large board hung high on the inside north east wall of the Town Hall? Removed for the interior decorating, it has yet to reappear. I am not sure of its age (does anyone know?). It gave directions to various attractions throughout the town. Will it be rehung? Is it being refurbished, too?
