Yesterday’s Post

The unusual combination of a native Liverpudlian and Northumbrian at the Watergate is newsworthy as it adds colour to yesterday's otherwise ordinary post. Rhuthun over the years has accepted a great many people including, for example, significant Scots who came here to serve at the Castle when it was a hospital at and around the time of the First World War, whose surnames live on among us all. I try to maintain as unbiased and balanced a view on here as possible and I do appreciate readers’ views on whether I get this right. For me, I view yesterday’s post as entirely factual. Well, not entirely, for the only non-factual element was the penultimate sentence that reads, “It's good to see the building in use again and we welcome them.” Two of the commenters felt this was impartial, though others did not.

Do they mean us?
