By Order

Published this very day are traffic orders pertaining to the new September 17th default speed of 20 mph. Not the orders for the expected blanket 20 mph limits, though; just the exceptions that will stay as 30 mph.

Added to the one previous exception (at Llanfwrog) is a second: the length of Denbigh Road by Aldi all the way along Lôn Parwcr to near Hen Lôn Parcwr. This is surprising, as it passes the Glasdir schools site. But it's also sensible, as the school is miles from the road (not literally, of course).

A525 Aldi to near Hen Lôn Parcwr

All other current 30 mph roads will from September 17th be reduced to 20 mph.

We'd even venture to suggest that the current Glasdir 30 mph limit is too low and that this should actually be 40 mph.

B5105 approaching Galltegfa will remain at 30, as previously suggested

There does not appear to be any sign of a traffic order for the general, default 20 mph scheme. Perhaps the Welsh government and county council have second thoughts. Yeah, right.
