On the Monday after the weekend of
Storm Arwen, the clear-up continued.
The A525 across Llandegla Moor saw several shallow-rooted pines blown over. Loggerheads was was also hit:
Not also the significant impact Arwen had on Rhyl, with sand blown far from the sea giving grass a beige flavour; and sand drifts covering benches and low walls.
There was also damage to the Rhos Street part of the new Glasdir schools, opened in 2018.
And, it was fairly breezy over this weekend. This is what the rear of Santa's shipping container looked like on Sunday morning... unless the mess could be attributed to rampaging seven year olds, of course.
