When it first opened, the Coffee Cabin promised late-ish opening and almost a seven day week service. Then it closed Mondays. Along came lockdown and although it eventually opened for takeaways it do so later than anticipated. And, this summer, the Coffee Cabin is closed on Tuesdays, as well as Mondays. Recently, though, the place has been more closed than open. The shop is profitable but customers wil only take so much.
Mind you, a sign in the window may have helped
We have learnt, however, that the young barista who runs the place has been forced to self-isolate owing to the possibility of the coronavirus. Fortunately, she did not contract covid-19 but we do thank her for taking the responsible approach. Her part time help is not always available to pen the place up: he also works (part time) for the pet shop on the Square. It isn't easy for one-woman-bands to run their businesses in such difficult times.
