After a relatively mild October and November, winter cooled right down in December. The first
snow arrived on December 9th and 10th and small pockets remained to the 17th. This was the heaviest spell. Then, more but lighter snow arrived on 29th.
Signs began appearing from mid-December warning residents of gas works in the town. Well Street was due to be shut for four weeks. The remainder of the works, on Market Street and Wynnstay Road is expected to last a further four weeks.
It was in
June 2017 that the Ruthin Tandoori was awarded zero for its food hygiene and it was
a month later that the reasons emerged. Now, though, the business has a full five out of five. I still cannot bring myself to use it, though, like we as a family once did.
Choo Choo has taken over the Square.
Cwtch, once the Montecito premises, has temporarily moved to Choo Choo.
