The long-promised barrier at Schola Ruthinensis has arrived and been erected, as of yesterday. It's fun to watch motorists heading up Mold Road swing to the left into the school's grounds, only to be confronted by an immovable blockage. They pause a while in the expectation that something might happen but it does not. Disappointed, they reverse off slowly, the car equivalent of the tail between their legs. If they care, they can approach from Jumbo Hill where no such impediment applies... if they think their car can withstand the rutted road.
That'll learn 'em (sic) for dropping off pupils for Ysgol Brynhyfryd. It's not as if they weren't warned, though.
