I do not hope it's the end of the Rhuthun Produce Market. It was due today but I saw no evidence of it. I may, of course, simply have been unobservant or sleep walking. Does anyone know what's happening? A good number of people in town in the morning and a fair few visitors, too. Perhaps they'd come on the promise of Produce. Or the promise of the Vale Ale bus service. Or both.
The Produce Market's been with us for, what, five years. Some things run their course, no doubt, but the produce market's been instrumental in drawing people back into town in a way food retailing these days cannot, not with Tesco around the corner.
