Shop Changes

Rhuthun/Ruthin is a café culture town, so it seems. You might ask whether we need another café but at least the one about to open in the former Nelson's replaces a closed tea shop like for like. It'll be called the Cherry Bomb. That's one fewer empty shop, then.

As far as we now, Mococo's still set to move from its position at the entrance to Castle Mews to the former Ethel Austin. It's a bigger and more practical space. Note in preparation, the redesigned Ethel Austin façade's now gone, in favour of the *old* one, exposed. As for Mococo, it's been here four years this month. That's one fewer empty shop and one newly empty one, then.

After less than 12 months' months trading, Rozi's is under new management. It still appears to feature traditional British foods, such as masalas and tandooris. Comparing Rozi's with the establish Ruthin Tandoori of Market Street, it seemed to me that Rozi's takeaways were slightly less fatty, though that's a personal observation. That's no change in occupied units there, then.
