Thanks to the three people who expressed appreciation for the 2008 Christmas Quiz.
Further to Anonymous's correction (for which thanks), I have checked my notes regarding Maes Hafod. The houses were cleared from 1979, not in 1979. I also note that the replacement housing began from 1981 (there were also three plus available for self-build).
I have corrected the quiz answer accordingly.
