Of these, the Coffee Mill is a long standing part of the town's 'furniture'. It was rare among the town's cafés to open on Sundays.
Over a year ago, we wondered whether there was an over-supply of cafés in Rhuthun. Since then, little's changed, till the Picture House opened and, last week, when the Café R opened at the Craft Centre.
They each have a different atmosphere and 'feel'. And it's very interesting to see that each café more or less attracts a slightly different clientele. It's not something that's terribly precise but each does seem to have its regulars. Interesting and not surprising. The result may be that the town isn't over-supplied with drinking places, after all.
