We can’t tell who reads Bro Rhuthun The Rhuthun/Ruthin Blog... but we can usually tell where they come from.
202 arrived here from Facebook on April 1st, having read about ‘Footfall Fears...’ on the social platform. That’s out of a reach of some 12,300. A further 369 did so from Facebook on April 2nd. Till at least the point when Facebook took the post down.
The post went down at about 3.50 pm on April 2nd. We don’t know why. It’s always useful to get feedback in such circumstances, especially given the ‘anything goes’ or ‘anything seems to go’ policy on some Facebook pages.
For the avoidance of doubt, the post was an April fool. But readers got that, right? There are of course no plans to close county hall. (Or, if there are, we are certainly not party to them.)

UPDATE 3/4/24 5 p.m: The post reappeared on Facebook almost exactly 24 hours after it vanished. We still do not understand what happened. Perhaps there is no conspiracy after all.
