We learnt recently that one of our newest residents who moved this spring, late of Sussex and who now lives in Pwllglas, chose the Rhuthun/Ruthin area not because of our fine heritage and streetscape, not because of our quality schools or our sense of community, not because of the natural environment surrounding us but because the pedestrian fingerposts around town looked clean! Well, they've yet to be up a year, so that's unsurprising.
Score one for the town council, though.
