Well, that was all rather odd. Yesterday's carnival parade hit the Square at 11.13AM which, by my estimation, was 17 minutes before it should've left the Crispin Yard car park. It certainly caught the marshals unawares and there were a number of comments about the timing.
Numbers waiting on the Square were I suppose reasonable but organisers Ymlaen Rhuthun would probably have been just as disappointed as the spectators were at the number of entrants that straggled through town. There's so much work that goes into this and it's such a pity more from town don't support it.
In short, not the best carnival parade we've seen but, of course, Dinbych's was again held on the same day.
