Why were there so few town councillors at the mayor's cheese and wine yesterday evening? Aside from the mayor herself, I counted four. Perhaps it was the food hygiene rating that put them off. The Ruthin Castle has managed to achieve a ZERO out of five. Given the health implication associated with a possible unsafe storage of CHEESE, then maybe councillors were concerned. I expect the WINE was stored fine.
For those who did attend, and there were about 50, it was a very jovial night. The food was tasty (ratings do not score taste, just hygiene). The entertainment was top hole, with the Dyffryn Divas and the Whipper Snappers or whatever the group of troubadours is called.
