There's a mini Rhuthun/Ruthin masterplan exhibition on at Yr Hen Lys to coincide with the Levelling Up Fund grant bid. As ever, the wishlist wants to see the end of the roundabout and much less traffic on The Square. Hurrah for that. But, there's still planned though haphazard parking all over the place. And seemingly little to prevent motorists taking a short cut through town.
That's a shame but it does indicate priorities... and the strength of the motoring lobby. The same lobby that selfishly forced the removal of the wider pedestrian areas.
So, what's the point?
