Methinks that the editors of this quarter's Town and Around are perhaps being a little mischievous. One of the images illustrating the article by Colin Edwards on 'Growing Up in Ruthin in the 1940s and 1950s' is this. Here is a perhaps subservient Edwards giving a gift to Diana Spencer. It's obvious just who is who but just in case there's any doubt that Colin is the one with the beard, the photo caption humourously reads,
'Diana (left) and Colin'
