Denbighshire Leisure Ltd formally began operations on April 1st, 2020, in the teeth of lockdown. A bad start. Since then, it has seen a disastrous flood at Rhyl's 1891 and Pavilion Theatre, wiping out the 2021 season. Meanwhile, Café R in Rhuthun/Ruthin did not reopen alongside the Craft Centre, because of a refurbishment, which meant it could not take advantage of the summer season there, either.
But, yesterday, new signage found its way to Rhuthun's leisure centre, which lends itself nicely to the modern image DLL is now trying to portray. It may not be significant in itself, but it does show that there are changes.
Meanwhile, that on the main road remains as is.
