In pragmatic rather than remarkable news, following close behind Thursday's announcement that secondary schools in Wales were to finish for face-to-face teaching yesterday (rather than as planned on December 18th), came a decision also yesterday that Denbighshire's primaries will also now shut, after teaching on Wednesday. So, two days ahead of the planned last day we have three primaries joining one secondary in town moving online. Not that there's ever much actual teaching during the last days of the autumn term. This is the latest in the chaotic and disordered world in which we now live.
