After a 16-day 'fire break' lockdown, it was so nice this morning to see town centre traders again throwing upon their doors and opening for business. At least for the time being. Shops, cafés and pubs were back in business.
There were modest numbers wandering around enjoying the weak sunshine and the opportunity to visit shops but, of course, it wasn't busy. That may come tomorrow, as some shops will offer 10 per cent off, we're told.
There was a sole person outside in Wetherspoon's outdoor area and a rotation of people seated for coffee outside the Coffee Cabin.
The county council had thoughtfully opened Nantclwyd y Dre free of charge (Mondays only). Again, well done for that.
