Here's a new phenomenon. A couple of closed shops have cleared out their windows. You cannot blame them, even though, we trust, the likelihood of a smash 'n' grab is limited but each one nevertheless leaves an unsightly, drab and unattractive chasm in town. Culprits so far are Bijou, Hide Away and Siop Elfair in Clwyd Street; and the e-cigarette shop in Well Street.
A small number have for some time now pulled their blinds down. One such is Gail's. Then there's Leonardo's. Another is Mococo. Indeed, Mococo not only heeded government instructions in closing its shop, it no longer fulfills orders on line; it's website is also closed.
