Notice anything odd about this receipt, from Boot's the Chemist? There are actually two curiosities. The first is Stryd y Castell is misspellt as Strud. But, actually, Boot's the Chemist's entrance is at the back of the Old Courthouse on Well Street and, as such, isn't on Stryd y Castell at all. And the postcode is a Castle Street one.
Time was, of course, when Boot's occupied the entire corner plot (including where the hearing shop now is) and, at that point, it's address would perhaps have been Stryd y Castell. Mind you and that said, Boot's does have a staff and goods entrance off Castle Street.
