On July 7th, 2017, we featured Pine & Oak Direct. It was on the occasion of the £468,000 "retirement sale". Owner Liz Williams whose first name we believe is actually Vera, was due to retire and she even stated that she had a couple of buyers up her sleeve.
But, two years later to the day, has the business sold? No. We did wonder whether this master of advertising was actually going to step down and whether the "retirement sale" was one of her ardent, passionate marketing ploys. She remains as an owner, director and active within the business; indeed, she's often at the Lôn Parcwr site. Since June 2018 (sic), there are, however, two additional directors appointed.
