How did a £3mil drugs farm manage to secret itself in the rear or upper floor or cellar of the former wine merchants on the Square? And, more to the point, what is happening to Rhuthun/Ruthin that we suddenly have such an enterprise?
We'd previously stated that there was an increasing incidence of pot about town but yesterday's police haul was ridiculous. We all knew that the closure of the former wine merchants "for refurbishment" was inaccurate and that nothing was going to happen to bring it back as an off-licence. we all thought it had just closed. Perhaps "refurbishment" was nothing other than a cover for people coming and going with equipment, bags and so on. Indeed, it obviously proved to be a suitable concealment, till now.
