Mini-meadows

Here's a sight for soar eyes. Threaded with a large variety of bee-friendly meadow flowers, it's somewhere in Rhuthun/Ruthin. But where? Here you will find campions, alliums (allia?), daisies (including the Michaelmas variety), a plant that's related to the pea, a large clover... and even sweet William. The only trouble, actually, is that there don't appear to be many bees. This is not for the want of trying: have you noticed that there are far fewer bees this year? Anyway, back to the meadow. If you don't know where these flowers are, scroll down to the end of the post where you will find a clue both this spring and before the conversion to these delightful beds of riotous colours. 10 out of 10 for planting these flours and letting them grow.

The town council has helped fund this project.
