We hear that the Craft Centre may be in trouble, Having tried to attract a new cornerstone tenant for the vacated café, to our amazement, there has been zero concrete interest. Without a café, it's hard to imagine the centre attracting locals let alone securing repeat visits from outside the area. It's said that the former lessees put the fiddle in the roof because of a steep decline in footfall. This resulted as much from the craft workshops being unoccupied as anything. There remains a question mark over the last remaining tenant, Cefyn Burgess. The fact that we are approaching Easter without a tenant for the café is worrying and there is currently a concern that this will be the start of a downward spiral at the Craft Centre.
