Clockwise from the Top Left...

... on Small Business Saturday UK, today... something that was made for Rhuthun/Ruthin... or was it?

Notice how much of the poster is aimed at women

Apples—the only small business selling fruit & veg is the limited supply at John Jones the butcher.

Culottes or shorts—Cwtsch, Choo Choo, Diva and Gayla House are the sole purveyors of female fashion in town. Not a bad spread but there used to be more.

Sausage—John Jones and W & G Jones are the remaining town butchers.

Jewellery—Mococo has a fine range of contemporary women's jewellery. Diva has cheaper accessories.

Women's shoes—Wildcatz is the sole supplier (excuse the pun). Nothing for men.

Dress—see culottes.

Muchsroom—see apples.

Handbag—Hide Away for leather ware; Wildcatz for exotica.

Gifts—King's for the more traditional; I'r Dim for the more expensive; Elfair for Welsh-made. Also try Lifestyle on the industrial estate.

Duvet—not aware of any trader, larger or small, stocking these in town.

Glasses—Alton Murphy or Schwarz, neither of whom open on a Saturday.

Cupcakes—it's own shop, Delightful Cupcakes.

Neckless—see jewellery.

Watch—see jewellery. Since the closure of Gareth Lynch, there are no watches for sale for men other than The Handyman's one or two.

Cosmetics—Well Street Pharmacy and, now, even Castle Bell.
