The renovation of Moel Fammau's Jubilee Tower continues. This is using the last portion of the Heather & Hillforts funding first allocated as long ago as 2004. The tower will be a fitting end to 10 years of projects.
Since repairs were last undertaken as long ago as 1969, parts of the tower are again crumbling. Part of the base of the tower was covered when it collapsed in 1862. In addition to repairs, the project aims to expose the corner stones to give the tower a sense of scale.
Work began in February.
