What a difference the new flooring has made to the interior of B&M. Suddenly, it's given the whole store a lift. And, the post-flooring restocking has filled many of the gaps that have increasingly appeared (though some still remain).
The original cream floor has been in situ since the building was converted by KwikSave in the mid-1980s. The floor surface was definitely past its best and was patched, scuffed, grimy, broken & resealed in places, and even taped together.
Also improved is the way in which B&M staff display goods in the open area to the rear of the store. And the width of the first aisle. It all makes for a more inviting shop.
Wall hangings similar to these seen at the Craft Centre in January 2011 occasionally find themselves for sale at B&M… but oddly not at Craft Centre prices…
