I trust everyone's keeping their eyes peeled for scarecrows. I think one of the least obvious is the one at the window of the new car mobility showrooms on Lôn Parcwr. The trail only lasts till 22nd May (and not 22nd June as stated in the Comment on this post). There are reported to be about 20 scarecrows in and round town. Perhaps not as many as first hoped but I can guarantee Ymlaen Rhuthun Forward that there will be more next year. There invariably is. Why not support those who've constructed a scarecrow and the team at Ymlaen by taking part in the trail. £1 for adults, 50p for children, with trail entries from Reebee's or Nelson's.
