Dennis Bailey sells cards with two wintry scenes, available from Siop Elfair, Clwyd Street. Many in and around Rhuthun will know Dennis, for he is a soon-to-retire local postman. He’s turned a hobby into a successful sideline. He seems able to capture images, whether on cards or as mounted photos, while out and about early on his rounds. He therefore sees much that the rest of us, still at rest, don’t. He can take full advantage of early morning clear skies.
A second set of seasonal cards comes from former Free Press photographer Katy Morgan, who lives near the hospital. Hers were on sale at the produce market. It seems that the “Prints” section of her website is not functioning at the time of writing, so we aren’t sure what’s available and where.
