Following in the footsteps of last year's Birchall-produced nude calendar comes news of Friday's launch of the 2009 version. The new one will feature the residents of the village of Clawdd Newydd, some five miles south west of Rhuthun.
Dubbed the UK's hottest charity calendar, the front cover 'cheekily' asks, "Which way will yours hang?" It's said to be Britain's first double-sided unisex charity calendar and will have its launch at Clawdd's Glan Llyn pub on Friday night. Requests from the Rhuthun/Ruthin Blog for a pre-launch evaluation copy were turned down by the promoters!
Proceeds are to the breast and testicular cancer units at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. Details of the £10 calendar are here.
