A few days break from blogging and already I feel refreshed. Many thanks to those who've been kind enough to pass a comment on my previous post, or sent an email—to say that they value this blog. I have to say that I was moved by what people have said.
And a regular reader from Australia! Crumbs.
I conclude that this blog's time has yet to come. It seems it hasn't arrived at its natural conclusion—just yet. I admit, though, to feeling somewhat uneasy about being 'far more partisan in your own personal postings' (as Invisus suggests) and far prefer the balanced view, though I do enjoy Invisus's and most other comments. Our society so often takes an ill-judged, one-sided stance, without considering all angles, and I believe we are the poorer for it.
Meanwhile, again, a warm thank you to those who took the trouble to pass a comment.
