We take another look at fuel prices in and around Rhuthun, one month after our previous post, something that's becoming increasingly popular, thanks mainly to the BBC's use of this blog's previous post on fuel prices.
Fuel in Rhuthun breached the £6 barrier on 13 June 2008, when diesel increased to £1.329 per litre (£6.04 per gallon). At the same time, unleaded moved 1p ahead and a further penny the following day, to £1.199 (£5.45). These prices have remained static for the time being.
Between 15 May and 14 June, petrol's increased seven times and diesel four. The percentage rise is 6.2 for unleaded and 4.7 for diesel. There've been no changes since 14 May 2008—yet. Pundits nevertheless are starting to predict the £2.30 litre in 2009, or over £10 per gallon.
