It was wet most of yesterday's daylight hours, and chilly. The town was virtually empty.
At 11 a.m. the outside temperature had reached 11.5°C; at 3 p.m. it was just 12°C but at 6 p.m. is was 15°C. Thought 15°C was a relief, it was a good 10°C below what you might expect for this time of year.

We weren't the only ones to have some of the heating on yesterday. And it's still early August.
