We have a new fashion shop. 20 years ago and that wouldn't be making any headlines. Then, we were renowned for our clothes shops and our small town became known as something of a draw. But the numbers dwindled.
The shop sells smellies but for those doing the same they will be relieved that the range is small
Is this the start of a fashion comeback? We do hope so. Ruby Joe operates alongside long-established Gayla House and newer Choo Choo. And then there's the small shop on the Square called 'One of a Kind', also selling fashions (although these are believed to be ex-catalogue stock). So, there are now four in town. There always appears a question mark over Choo Choo: she's indicated she may retire but still Choo Choo keeps going.
It would appear that Ruby Joe is a chain: they apparently have outlets in Wrecsam and Whitchurch (presumably Shropshire's).
