We believe that the conservatory at the Manor House t/a Manorhaus was taken down a little early, given that planning had not actually seen its course. Yet, Denbighshire's conservation officer was content with the works and the structure was said to he unsafe (which meant it needed urgent action).
It's also said that the conservatory when built over 20 years ago by a previous owner was controversial, because it spoilt the frontage. We honestly cannot remember whether there was a furore or not. It was possible that such an extension to the front would have been opposed.
Now that the structure's gone and the owners of Manor House will begin to clean up the elevation, we think that the frontage looks better for the demolition of the conservatory.
