I see that the Fans of Ruthin Facebook page has renamed itself Ruthin/Rhuthun. Seems to me that they've made the mistake of putting English first.
Geraint Woolford created the site as 'The Fans of the Old Ruthin Blog' on January 22nd, 2012 at the point that this very blog went 'private'. It wasn't to replace the blog but it clearly has. On June 9th, 2018, its moderator renamed the site 'Fans of Ruthin'. We felt it a shame that they cut the long-standing link to this blog but, then again, it was understandable. Then, yesterday, it became Ruthin/Rhuthun. Does the most recent change mean that the 'Real Fans of Ruthin' Facebook page is now the 'Only Fans of Ruthin'?
At some 7,900 members, you have to acknowledge the popularity of the site. What is less easy to accept is the behaviour of some people who use it. I shan't go on but my concerns are well documented.
