Rhuthin/Ruthin has a brand new and very shiny red Royal Mail delivery van. It was registered this month. It's KR70 EYV and it's a Peugeot Expert. This makes it slightly bigger than the average and standard mail Peugeot Partner or the few remaining even smaller Fiat Doblos.
Royal Mail was privatised in 2014 and it's taken till now for the organisation to make use of the space on the side of its van as a promotional tool. After all, the side is something of a blank canvas. Click & Drop is marketed as the easy, convenient parcel drop off service. You buy your postage online and drop off the parcel at a post box. But the irony here is that the nearest 'Click. Drop. Done' box offering the 24-hour service suitable for parcels as promoted on the van's side is either in Llanelwy/St Asaph or Wrecsam...
Oh, and why isn't Royal Mail using electric traction?
