The Rhuthun/Ruthin Blog made news, in a "special report" in today's Denbighshire Free Press (see page 8). Under the headline "School for scandal over cash crisis", the Free Press stated, "A huge social networking row has erupted over the financial position of a top Denbighshire private school". It reports on some of the exchanges left recently by blog commenters.

For, it isn't till the 11th paragraph that the newspaper names the "social networking site". And the site is? The Rhuthun/Ruthin Blog. I'll let readers here know whether there's an appreciable increase in the number of visitors, a so-called spike. If there is, the Free Press can be confident that its article on the school is newsworthy. If not, there are perhaps fewer who care than they like to admit.
This is not the first time the Rhuthun/Ruthin Blog's features in the Free Press though we feel this is the first time by name.

"The Free Press revelations have caused a storm on the town's internet forum. A site called Ruthin Blog (sic) has seen local people enraged by the financial state of the school"This rather makes it out that the Free Press has only just stumbled upon the blog. In fact, the people from MWN Media Ltd have always taken a look around.
