More Paint

Talking of repaints as we were yesterday, the owners of the property at the junction of the Square and Well Street, now in the hands of Creative Image, were very quick to remedy the falling plasterwork and bubbling paint on its frontage, having done so early on Sunday morning last, by using nothing more complicated than a hydraulic platform. Simple, really. And, like the lick of paint at the former Rhuthun Carpets on Well Street—from Monday to see Amber Bridal, transferring from Castle Mews—how these people are setting a good example.

They also seem to be showing up Stephanie who owns the Castle Hotel, as it continues to crumble to dust. The observant among you can sometimes see small piles of powdery masonry on the street, if you keep your eyes open. The plaster is badly cracked on the Wynnstay Road side, so much so that the underlying brickwork is starting to be exposed. No longer a stitch in time. Chunks of brick are now falling from the front, on St Peter's Square, too.
