It's with just a little sense of satisfaction that I can report the Rhuthun/Ruthin Blog is one of the five who've been shortlisted under the Welsh Blog Awards [shortlist here] "Best Community Blog". That surely must be worthy of celebration in itself.
The long-list originally contained over 15 blogs but this whittled down to 13. Rhuthun/Ruthin was and remains the standard bearer for the North. We’ve said before and it's worth repeating that we count the others not as rivals but fellow travellers. The four are well written and well presented. But, how does Rhuthun/Ruthin shape up against each criterion the selectors are looking for? Here's our self-assessment.
