Crazy is how I would call Saturday food shopping in Rhuthun/Ruthin. Perhaps there was a certain desperation. Fewer about during the week, a need to stock up, and the forecast of more snow today. All checkouts open at Tesco and, even more strangely, all at Co-op. There were Co-op queues reminiscent of pre-Tesco days. Everything went quieter at dusk.
A little less cold this morning, though. Snow definitely on the way, then.
Meanwhile, our sympathies extend to the locally well-known Terzo family, upon news on Friday of the death of Joe. No one appears yet to confirm whether he slipped and fell in Clwyd Street or suffered a heart attack. Both could be weather related.
