Ethel Austin’s external and internal refit was completed as scheduled on Friday. A fresh exterior and cleaner and especially lighter interior gives this important ‘bread and butter’ clothes shop a more modern feel. The flooring remains the same, though. It still feels like walking on a trampoline. Or like coming out of the pub after one too many.
