The Flu

Aelodau cynulliad/assembly members are a little upset they didn’t know about the Llanfihangel bird flu from the start. OK, so they have a country to run. But what about the rest of us? Llanfihangel’s within spitting distance of Rhuthun. Why should AC/AMs who represent us in Caerdydd be informed any sooner than those of us who might well be mixing with the virus? In this instance, we all have the right to timely information, whether we are important or ordinary. That the outbreak isn’t contained and appears to have leapfrogged to Henllan near Dinbych/Denbigh is of some genuine concern, even though officials tell us there’s only a limited health risk.
