Signs increase that Tesco in Rhuthun/Ruthin’s just around the corner.
A bilingual sign, Welsh first, appeared today outside Tesco Rhuthun/Ruthin, announcing to the world that the store’s to open in seven day’s time, at 9.00 a.m., that’s an hour later than expected.
There’s now a steady trickle of staff between Tesco and the town, in their familiar dark blue checked shirts.
Lorries continue to arrive to stock the store. It’s apparently extremely rare to see an Eddie Stobart lorry anywhere off the M6 and M1 motorways. It probably means that they’re running low on Tesco heavies during the stocking-from-scratch operation. Late last week, I was stuck behind a Tesco lorry on the road from Mold.
