Developments

A busy week in Rhuthun/Ruthin for Tesco, as preparations continue:
o At the seven day count down mark, signs appeared to let the public know o the store was to open. One was bilingual Welsh first, the other the reverse.
o Large numbers of delivery lorries kept coming, up to mid-week.
o On the 25th, that controversial large Tesco sign went red.
o The car park began to empty itself of builders’ equipment and plant.
o Shopping trolleys appeared ready in the trolley storage areas on site.
o Uniformed staff have irregularly been moving to and fro.
o Motorists have been driving past at kerb crawling speed, taking in the site of their new shopping paradise to come.
o Builders have applied the final stone facing to the exterior walls towards Lon Parcwr.
