Lo-cost is to resurface its car park, tomorrow and Monday. The car park will be closed.This 11th hour act may be designed to improve its perception among the people of Rhuthun/Ruthin, with Tesco about to open.
Management have presumably figured that if they leave it any longer, it will hand yet more business over to Tesco, on a plate, with a locked car park.
It’s taken quite a long time for Co-op management to recognise that its car park is in such a poor state of repair. Almost immediately after Co-op predecessor Lo Cost opened in 1992, there developed problems with the surface’s wearing course
There are currently 89 spaces in the Co-op car park, of which eight are for disabled people and four for families with children.
