Developers Bryant Homes (aka Taylor Woodrow) are expected to pay £7m for the phase one of the Glasdir development, north of Rhuthun/Ruthin. This will give them 178 houses to build, as part of a 25 acre, 230-house development. On average, that's £40,000 per plot, without construction.
Like Tesco, Glasdir is expected to change Rhuthun/Ruthin forever. While there will be expanded shopping in place when the houses are complete – Tesco would never have touched Rhuthun/Ruthin without it – what of schooling and medical facilities? Not to mention employment.
